DIY up to date

We own our house just over a year and first 6 weeks were crazy. Any time between our 4 jobs were spent decorating & fixing & renovating.
We so far did:

1. Painted all walls & ceilings & skirting boards & door frames & window sills & staircase & cupboard door & loft hatches and bath board (twice).

2. Wallpapered two walls (had a help from my husband friend).

3. Changed all windows for UPVC + front of the house for wooden sash, back door changed too and front door fixed, changed all fittings and repainted.

4. I have cleaned all carpets & staircase.

5. Changed all handles in the kitchen.

6. Changed light in the bathroom (who has hanging bulb next to the shower?), in the dining room and in our porch.

7. Changed stop cock (was leaking), drained our boiler system and changed old radiator in the bathroom for towel heater, changed 1 TVR and had service on our boiler

8. Fixed leaking taps in the bathroom and added big shower, exchanged toilet system and fitted new toilet holder.

9. Fitted new loft hatch, put isolation on the loft (sheep wool),boarded it and fitted light there.

10. Fixed leaking drain pipe and fixed broken slate on the roof.

11. Repaired all door handles and fitted new in our bedroom.

12. I have de-rusted 2 fireplaces ( were just polished steel)  and sealed them.

13. Fitted all curtain poles (it was hard work, we have just solid brick walls everywhere)

14. Installed new TV booster in 2nd bedroom (linked with cable to the aerial in the loft)

15. Throw away artificial grass in our garden and planted grass, got rid of patio planks (too small for even 2  chairs and planted herb garden and got a little sentry box.

16. Fitted water but.

17. Re grouted bathroom.

We will have to to in the future:

Re grout kitchen, and in a few years it will need new kitchen and new floor.
Get new boiler (our is 20 years old)
Isolate loft in our extension (can't get access because build in fridge freezer)
Fix the leaks around chimney (have stains in the bedrooms)
Paint the extension

So having our own house is never ending "fixing"
