Weekly baking - carrot & caraway seed biscuits

This is my mums Christmas "sweet" receipt. I had make a little change and did it as "salty" biscuits.


Receipt is:

400g self rising flour ( I use gluten free)
250g butter
150g grated carrot
a little bit of salt
caraway seed

All together mix and make a dough. Then with rolling pin make it 3mm thick. Cut with cutter to small pieces and put on buttered tray. Heat the oven to 180C and bake for approx 10 minutes or until edges start to brown.





 I have put a little bit more salt on top + a few caraway seeds in this stage. Then it goes in preheated oven


 


All done. My husband really likes them.  Munches on them when watching TV + do the ironing! :-)
