I am for ever fighting with overload of stuff at home. Too many clothes, too many toys, too many kitchen utensils and way too much storage solutions. Our stuff is just overwhelming me. I am a little bit of minimalist at heart so it is strange that our house is full! I am not hoarder, but it just seems that they are too many items everywhere (and the little one is not helping).

How did we spend that on WATER!
In February we received a call from our water supplier Affinity Water (bless them). They were carefully asking us if any circumstances in our household had changed? Oh, yes (was my answer) we have a baby!
Than it is OK than your water bill went up by 270%! WHAT! We already had about 5 month old baby when our usual bill came in August and it was the usual £85.63. So how we got to £317.48 in next 6 months is big mystery.
I had a big look up on our water consumption and this is how you spend £231.85 more than you need.

Homemade blackout curtains - baby room
The nights are getting shorter and slowly light is creeping in our baby room earlier and earlier. To help our baby boy sleep a little bit longer (past 5:30 in the morning :-)) we had to make his room dark.
After a few days of research I choose to add up black out fabric to existing curtains. Also cost effective!
