Review: Aldi Mamia nappies

When pregnant I have received a sample pack of  newborn Pampers nappies (from my mother-in-law) and also we bought some Aldi Mamia nappies. I read some really good reviews about them so we gave it a try.

Sami is very happy in Aldi Mamia nappy

From beginning I wasn't very happy with Pampers because they leaked! Also they had very chemical smell. Aldi Mamia were much better. Light, soft and they did the work. So we stayed with them and got some size 3. We had some leakage with size 3 mainly due to our baby boy drinking like a sailor at night. We swapped them for size 4 at night and they were better but not great when your child can drink up to 1000ml at night. I was changing our baby boy up to 3 times at night to keep him and bed dry.

In that time we gave Pampers another chance. So now we use ( for 6 month old) Pampers size 4 for a night and Aldi Mamia size 4 during a day. Finally after some controlled crying we got to Sami sleep better so no more drinking milk during the night. We probably will go back to use only Aldi. The price of Mamia nappies is very good and quality is very competitive to Pampers.

We found out that Aldi Mamina newborn and size 4 are really good. We had some issues with size 3.
Pampers newborn were not good, but size 4 is great especially during a night.
